The first Africa Regional Exchange of the DGM took place in Burkina Faso from July 19th-23rd. Organized by DGM Global, with support from DGM Burkina Faso, the workshop brought together a diverse group of 36 participants representing 14 countries and three African IPLC networks.

On March 30-31, 2016, 17 representatives from Mozambique’s civil society gathered in the northern city of Pemba for the second meeting of the country’s DGM interim committee. This workshop was an important milestone to bring the DGM process forward in Mozambique, and it provides a platform to discuss what issues are most important to forest dependent communities in Mozambique.
