Country Projects
Beyond the global project, the DGM also supports 12 projects in countries of the Forest Investment Program (FIP). Each of these projects has its own unique design based on the national context and the priorities of the country’s indigenous peoples and local communities.
Before receiving approval and funding, each project must have a steering committee composed of indigenous peoples and local communities leading and overseeing the project, as well as an executing agency to receive funding and coordinate project implementation.
