DGM Side Event at UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues

On Wednesday, April 26, the DGM will be hosting a side event on "Illustrating IPLC-driven Implementation of Climate Adaptation and Mitigation Activities" at the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII) in New York. This event will include case studies from DGM Brazil and DGM Indonesia. For anyone registered to attend UNPFII 2017, please join us in UN Conference Room B of the Main Building from 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM to learn more about the DGM and IPLC-led climate change adaptation and mitigation efforts.

The DGM team is excited to be participating in UNPFII 2017, which marks the tenth anniversary of the adoption of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. The DGM eagerly anticipates the continued successful implementation of these rights, as well as the further promotion of IPLC engagement in climate change mitigation, adaptation, and decision-making.
